My trip to Phillip Island from Queensland and back 2009
April 12th, 2009 Posted 3:42 pm
I had been waiting and preparing for this trip for a while, now i had a BMWr75 to take me there all i had to do was pack for the 6000KM round trip.
Overall, the BMW is a superb bike. We had a great time even with the 100km/h cross winds hitting us coming out accross N.S.W during the Victorian 2009 bushfires.
Well, this is what i came to see, some action on the track. And talk about bikes!! Miles of bikes everywhere.
Bikes bikes bikes.
Really nice bikes
Opps.
- Biaggi stack
Took a ride around country Victoria.
The devastation was awful, lots of people and animals lost lives around here.
Back at camp i had a few ‘Roomies’, met some great people and we had a monster tv screen near our tents so we could watch the action in comfort.
Conditions faced during the ride back in southern N.S.W 100km/h winds & dust.
Called into Canberra on the way back, hope you like the photo of the war memorial. Maybe more to come…
